Scope of Legal Services

• General legal advice and counsel on the immigration status and possible remedies available to clients.

• Assistance to eligible clients with the preparation of various immigration petitions and applications, but not limited to, applications for naturalization, family-based immigration, asylum, and victims of domestic abuse.

• Educational “know your rights” workshop for immigrants.

• Referrals to other legal service providers and private immigration attorneys in cases in which we cannot provide representation.

• Legal representation on a case-by case basis for individuals currently in removal proceedings before the immigration court.

What we don’t provide:

• Immigration counsel in the area of employment-based immigration law, but we may refer clients to outside counsel for assistance.

• Representation of detained individuals.
