Opportunity to Serve - Altar Guild Ministry

First United Methodist Church welcomes all who feel called to serve God through worship. There are opportunities to serve through the Altar Guild, as Acolytes, on the Creative Worship Design Team, or as Communion Servers.

• Altar Guild Members — Prepare and care for the altar, communion table, and worship elements, helping create a sacred and welcoming space for worship.
• Acolytes — Assist during worship by carrying the cross or candles and supporting various parts of the worship service.
• Communion Servers — Assist in preparing and serving Holy Communion, helping make this sacred time meaningful and welcoming for all.
• Creative Worship Design Team - help bring the worship theme to life via the creative arts.

If you feel called to serve or would like to learn more, please contact Lystra Alleyne ([email protected]) or Pastor Stacey ([email protected]). You are also welcome to call the church office at 301-927-6133 for more information.
