Helping Hands Feeding Ministry

The Helping Hands ministry makes and distributes 100 lunches every Tuesday to feed the homeless in our area. Every second Saturday of the month, the ministry distributes items purchased for the community including 100 boxes of food and 200 packages of meat. Additionally, the pastor and ministry leadership have coordinated with the City of Hyattsville which (in addition to vaccines and testing) donates diapers for distribution and provides free produce on the third Tuesday of each month starting at 12 noon (at the testing tent or in Ensor Hall, depending on the weather).

SHARE Food Network

The United Methodist Men have partnered with Catholic Charities to offer SHARE food. The SHARE Food Network supports local communities by providing fresh, high quality, affordable groceries to EVERYONE.
Order discounted groceries through the church office. SHARE food delivery and pick up of pre-purchased meals typically occurs monthly on the 4th Saturday of the month at 9:30 am. DOWNLOAD the January 2023 menu here. |
