School Supplies

School Supplies Needed - First Church will be collecting school supplies for all age groups. (K-12) Clear bookbags, regular bookbags, composition notebooks, pens, number 2 pencils, highlighters, markers, colored pencils, crayons ,glue sticks, pencil box with zipper for binder 3-ring binder, scissors (blunt point K-3). Distribution will be on Sunday, August 16, 2026 after service.

Youth Picnic

August 22, 2026 -Youth Picnic - The Youth will have their annual cook-out on Saturday, August 22, 2026, starting at 12:00n, in the parking lot outside ENSOR Hall.
Thank you to all who led and participated in Vacation Bible School 2026! ​The foundational scripture was: I can do all things through him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13, NRSV) The theme was Find Your Strength in God.

Still Discerning Who God Is Calling You To Be?
Exploration 2026, set for November 6 – 8, 2026 in Orlando, Florida, creates sacred space for young adults ages 18 and older to gather in meaningful fellowship, passionate worship, theological reflection and practical workshops. Participants are invited to discern whether God’s call on their life is to ordained ministry in The United Methodist Church and what faithful steps they can take in response. Learn more here.
