Michele Jackson

Administrative Assistant

Michele Jackson is currently First Church's Administrative Assistant to the Pastor. She is happily married to Gerald Jackson who serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees. They have a daughter and son-in-law and (5) grandsons, (1) great granddaughter, and (1) great grandson. They are the loves of their lives.

Michele retired from AT & T as a Certified Project Manager in 1997. She also worked for a non-profit organization from 2000-2006. She was a member of St. Paul UMC of Oxon Hill, MD from 2000-2008. She served on Lay Leadership, Chaired SPRC and Communion Stewards.
She moved to Alpharetta, GA  and joined St. James UMC and served as the Co-Chair of New Members Ministry.

Michele is currently serving as the Chair of the Senior Ministry, On-Site coordinator for SHARE project, Chair of "Keeping In Touch Ministry"  and Chair of the PATH Ministry, serves on Lay Leadership and Source Collaborative Ministry. Michele manages the "front office" volunteers to ensure the church office operates smoothly.

She enjoys cooking and putting a smile on your face. Her favorite bible verse is Psalms  37-4 "Delight yourself in the Lord and He Will Grant you the desires of your Heart"
