Thank you for considering the Child Enrichment Center for your child's preschool or before/after school experience. We provide child care services for children 2-5 years old and a Before/After school Program for children in Kindergarten Thru Sixth Grade. We are a Christian preschool, and an outreach ministry of First United Methodist Church of Hyattsville. We are licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care.
The Child Enrichment Center School admits all students of any race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin. We offer a quality multi-cultural program with an emphasis on Christian principles. Each child is treated as an individual encouraged to grow: socially, spiritually, intellectually, physically and emotionally in a caring Christian environment. Our curriculum is designed to stimulate and encourage growth of the whole child. Language arts, math, reading, phonics, social studies, Bible stories, character development, science, and art lessons are incorporated on an age appropriate level throughout the week. We also offer weekly Chapel on Wednesdays.
Our Center is open all year-round including summers.
Our Center hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m.
Before and After School Care for children in Kindergarten thru sixth grade is available from 7 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 2:00p.m. to 6:00p.m.
