Psalm 98
Sing to the Lord a new song,
    for he has done marvelous things;
his right hand and his holy arm
    have worked salvation for him.
2 The Lord has made his salvation known
    and revealed his righteousness to the nations.
3 He has remembered his love
    and his faithfulness to Israel;
all the ends of the earth have seen
    the salvation of our God.
4 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth,
    burst into jubilant song with music;
5 make music to the Lord with the harp,
    with the harp and the sound of singing,
6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn--
    shout for joy before the Lord, the King.
7 Let the sea resound, and everything in it,
    the world, and all who live in it.
8 Let the rivers clap their hands,
    let the mountains sing together for joy;
9 let them sing before the Lord,
    for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
    and the peoples with equity.

Director of Music Ministry

Pierrindo (Perry) Palmer
Pierrindo Palmer was born in Sierra Leone. He was educated at the Sierra Leone Grammar School. He was the Organist and Music Director for the school. Perry, as he likes to be called, started his music career at the Ebenezer Methodist Church in Sierra Leone where he was the Organist. He came to the United States when his father served as Ambassador to the US from 1972 to 1978.   Over the years, Perry has served as organist of College Park United Methodist church, St. Johns Episcopal Church Mount Rainier, Trinity Episcopal Church in West Virginia and he most recently served as Organist and Music Director of Israel Creek Lutheran Church before coming on board to First United Methodist Church.
   Perry studied Business Administration and is currently studying Music Education at Montgomery Community College. His Business Administration background has given him the opportunity to work for Global Reimbursements as Patient Account Specialist/Trainer, Wells Fargo Bank as a quality monitor/trainer, Freddie Mac, PNC Bank and Sun Trust bank.
He is married to Eugenia Palmer and they have a son, Pierrindo Jr.
