Children & Youth Ministry

The Children and Youth Ministry at First United Methodist Church embodies the Mission and Vision of the Church of making disciples in a multicultural environment. Youth leaders work with children and youth, parents and members of the congregation with children PK through 12th grades to grow in their service to God and to others.
We contribute to the life and vibrancy of the church through among other things, our ministry in song, dance, and drama. Our activities are based on the needs of our members and the needs of the church and seek to develop the personal, social and spiritual life of our children and youth. On fifth Sundays, we lead the 10am worship service. In our continuous effort to fulfill the work of God, we work in partnership with individuals and other ministries of the church as we seek to reflect God in our everyday relationships. “Train up a child in the way he (she) should go and when he (she) is old, he (she) will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 |
