Read: Psalm 22:23-26
Have you ever cried out to the Lord, expecting him to hear and answer right away? I remember those days, waiting for his divine help/answer to my prayers, all within a short time!!! I often felt like being in a dry desert, now realizing how selfish that was - wanting God to answer, quick, fast and in a hurry!!! I know that, through trials and struggles, God does all things well. He always knows what's best for us. Today's devotional reading is about giving God glory, honor and praise, even in the midst of dire situations. Jesus, who did no wrong, in all of his suffering, all that he went through on our behalf, became obedient to the cross, death and hell. He who knew no sin became sin for us and our salvation. He won the victory! The worst became the best, for on the third day he rose from the dead and is now seated at God, the father's right hand, daily making intercession for us. We, who were without hope, have found a Savior who is faithful and true. We praise you God, in the congregation, for you are good all the time. Lord God, help us to always give you thanks and praise, no matter what the situation. Nothing compares to what our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ went through. Thank you, that we can put our faith and trust in you, always. You never fail us. Help us to be bold and loving witnesses of the Good News. Amen MaryB. DeaVone Comments are closed.
